Bottle River
Die Rauminstallation besteht aus mehreren hunderten Objekten. Jedes einzelne Objekt erinnern an eine handelsübliche Wasserflasche. Bei der Inspektion der Objekte ist der/die Betrachter_in irritiert, Ungereimtheiten fallen auf. Die Objekte sind keine Massenware, nicht maschinell angefertigt aus Plastik sondern produziert aus Keramik und somit kostbare Handarbeit. Das Künstler_innenduo spielt mit der Vorstellung von Massenware und Sammlungsobjekt.

Bottle River

The installation consists of several hundred objects. Each individual object is reminiscent of a standard water bottle. When inspecting the objects, the viewer is irritated, inconsistencies become apparent. The objects are not mass-produced, not machine-made from plastic but produced from ceramics and thus precious handiwork. The artist duo plays with the idea of mass-produced goods and collector's items.
