GRAND OUVERT

Im Rahmen des Kunstprojektes Boulevard ist Trumpf – ein Skatblatt für das Quartier fand von Oktober – Dezember 2020 der Workshop Linoldrucktechnik mit dem Künstler Andrej Zwetzig statt.  Anwohner*innen aus dem Quartier Boulevard Kastanienallee haben mitgemischt und mit Farben und Formen experimentiert. Es sind beeindruckende Ergebnisse in der Technik des Linolschnitts entstanden. Die Ergebnisse sind nun in der Ausstellung GRAND OUVERT vom 28.3. - 11.4.2021 im mp43 – projektraum für das periphere zu sehen.  

Darüber hinaus wurde aus den entstandenen kreativen Werken das erste individualisierte Skatkartenspiel gedruckt. Das Kartenspiel kann in der Ausstellung bestaunt und mitgenommen werden.  Und natürlich  kann damit gespielt werden!!!

Boulevard ist Trumpf ist ein Kunstprojekt zum Thema Skat.

Skat - das Spiel, das in der deutschen Gesellschaft seit mehr als zwei Jahrhunderten fest verankert ist. Ob Stadt oder Land, ob Mitte oder Peripherie; ob Ost oder West das Spiel vereint die

Menschen in Deutschland miteinander. Zwar wird weltweit Skat gespielt, allerdings ist die Spieler*innengemeinde in Deutschland mit mehr als 20 Millionen Spielenden am größten. Das Spiel wurde 1813 in Altenburg (Thüringen) entwickelt, 2016 als Weltkulturerbe aufgenommen und in die Liste der immateriellen Weltkulturgüter eingetragen. 

In dem Projekt Boulevard ist Trumpf wird in Verbindung mit dem Spiel der Begriff  Heimat untersucht und dessen Möglichkeit zur Identifikation diskursiv verhandelt.  

Während der Laufzeit des Projekts kann miteinander gespielt, experimentiert und kommuniziert werden. In Workshops werden individualisierte Skatblätter entworfen, bei Ausstellungspräsentationen steht das Thema Skat im Mittelpunkt und Skatrunden werden zum Treffpunkt. Während des Projekts ist das Skat spielen ausdrücklich erwünscht!

Es wird darum gebeten die üblichen Abstands-  und Hygieneregeln einzuhalten.

As part of the art project Boulevard ist Trumpf - ein Skatblatt für das Quartier, the workshop Linoldrucktechnik with the artist Andrej Zwetzig took place from October to December 2020. Residents from the Boulevard Kastanienallee district took part and experimented with colors and shapes. Impressive results were created using the linocut technique. The results can now be seen in the exhibition GRAND OUVERT from 28.3. - 11.4.2021 at mp43 - projektraum für das periphere.

In addition, the first individualized skat card game was printed from the resulting creative works. The deck of cards can be admired and taken away at the exhibition. And of course you can play with it!!!

BOULEVARD IST TRUMPF (BOULEVARD IS TRUMP) is an art project on the subject of skat. Skat - the game, has been an integral part of German society for more than two centuries. Whether city or country, center or periphery; whether East or West, the game joins the Germans. Although Skat is played all over the world, the community of players is largest in Germany, with more than 20 million players. The game was developed in Altenburg (Thuringia) in 1813, listed as a World Heritage Site in 2016 and entered the list of intangible world cultural assets.

The Boulevard ist Trumpf project examines the concept of home in connection with the game and discursively negotiates its potential for identification.

During the course of the project, people can play, experiment and communicate with each other. Individualized skat decks will be designed in workshops. Exhibitions will focus on the topic of skat and skat rounds will become a meeting place. Playing skat is expressly encouraged during the project!
