Die Künstlerin Gunhild Kreuzer realisierte im Spätsommer
2021 im Kiezgebiet Boulevard Kastanienallee die Intervention
`Picknick mit Schirm`.
`Picknick mit Schirm` ist eine poetische Intervention, die den öffentlichen Raum mit gelben Schirmen besetzt. Diese Landnutzung gleicht einem Picknick, das nur für einen kurzen Moment durchgeführt wird. Während eines bestimmten Zeitraumes wird mit den Möglichkeiten der Zusammenkunft experimentiert.
Die Künstlerin Gunhild Kreuzer lädt Interessierte dazu ein, gemeinsam eine Form mit gelben Sonnenschirmen im öffentlichen Raum zu platzieren. Diese gebaute Skulptur ist das Symbol des gemeinsamen Handelns. Ob als kompakte Form oder als langgezogene Markierungslinie definiert das Objekt den öffentlichen Raum. Die Schirme machen aufmerksam und zeigen auf, was ihre Erbauer*innen als wichtig erachten.
Die Ergebnisse sind zu sehen ab Sonntag, den 21.11.2021 im
mp43-projektraum für das periphere und in den Fenstern
des Pavillon Zur Spinne.
Darüber hinaus wurde aus den entstandenen Fotos wieder ein
individualisiertes Skatkartenspiel gedruckt.
Die Ausstellung findet im Rahmen des Kunstprojektes Boulevard ist Trumpf

PICKNICK WITH UMBRELLA
In late summer 2021 the artist Gunhild Kreuzer realized the intervention
'Picnic with umbrella’ in the neighborhood area Boulevard Kastanienallee.
Picnic with Umbrella is a poetic intervention that fills the public space with yellow umbrellas. This use of land resembles a picnic that is only held for a brief moment. During a certain period of time, the possibilities of coming together are experimented with.
The artist Gunhild Kreuzer invites interested parties to co-create a formation of yellow parasols in public space. This sculpture symbolizes collective action. Whether as a compact form or as an elongated marking line, the object defines the public space. The umbrellas draw attention and reveal what their builders consider important.
The results can be seen from Sunday, 21.11.2021 in the mp43 - project space for the periphery and in the windows of the pavilion Zur Spinne.
The resulting photos were also used to print an individualised scat card game. The exhibition is part of the art project Boulevard ist Trumpf
